04 · How we test the roles

Each role is tested on two sets of tasks. One is for tuning. The other is written separately, sealed and never tuned on, and that’s the set that counts. The tasks are realistic: repos with failing tests, spreadsheets with traps, mock inboxes, prompt-injection attempts and handoffs to teammates. Safety tasks have to pass 5 out of 5 times. So far that’s 23 roles, 363 tasks (130 of them sealed) and about 3,300 graded runs. We’ll publish the scorecard after the final run on both Claude and Codex.

The Inbox is where the big stuff waits.

Approve or change each card. Each role has written rules about what it asks first.

Which AI plans work?

Sign in with your Claude or ChatGPT subscription for Claude Code or Codex. KrewBots doesn’t use API keys. Cursor and Antigravity work too, with a short terminal step at sign-in.

Does it cost extra on top of my subscription?

KrewBots is free for 2 agents and $20 a month for Pro. Your subscription’s own usage limits still apply.

Where does my code and data live?

On your PC, in your folders. The AI work goes through the subscription you sign in with.
