Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the KrewBots app, the krewbots.com website and KrewBots Pro (together, “KrewBots”). KrewBots is provided by KrewBots (“we”, “us”). By downloading, using or buying KrewBots you agree to these terms.

What KrewBots is

KrewBots is desktop software that runs a team of AI agents on your own computer. The agents do their work through AI accounts you already have (for example Claude Code or Codex), under those providers' own terms. We don't supply, resell or pay for that AI usage, and we don't control what those services produce.

Plans and licences

• Free: up to 2 agents with every feature, for as long as you like.
• Pro: unlimited agents, sold as a subscription. A Pro licence is for one person on one computer at a time.
• When you buy Pro you get a licence key. The app checks it with our licence service about once a day and keeps working offline for up to 14 days between checks.
• You may not share, resell or publish your licence key, or try to get around the plan limits.

Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payment, sales tax and VAT, invoices and billing questions. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the link in your Paddle receipt email or by emailing hello@krewbots.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then the app returns to Free. Your agents and data stay on your computer either way.

We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll tell you by email at least 14 days before a change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.

Your data and your responsibility

Your agents, memory, files and settings stay on your computer. You are responsible for what you ask your agents to do, for checking their work before you rely on it, for keeping backups, and for following the terms of the AI services and websites your agents use. Agents ask before purchases and account changes, but you decide what they are allowed to do.

Acceptable use

Don't use KrewBots to break the law, harm others, send spam, attack systems you don't own, or infringe anyone's rights. Don't reverse engineer the licence checks or redistribute the app except as the law allows.

Updates and availability

We improve KrewBots over time and may add, change or remove features. Pro includes updates while your subscription is active. We aim to keep the licence service running but can't promise it will never be interrupted; the app keeps working offline for up to 14 days.

Ownership

KrewBots and its software, name and branding belong to us. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app under these terms. What your agents make for you is yours, subject to the terms of the AI service that produced it.

Disclaimers and liability

KrewBots is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Ending these terms

You can stop using KrewBots at any time. We may suspend or end a licence that breaks these terms. The sections on ownership, disclaimers and liability survive.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date and email Pro customers about material changes.
